The latest development features an extended staffroom and a purpose-built Health Hub, marking an exciting milestone for the growing P–12 school community.

Hands-on training for future healthcare workers
The centrepiece of the Stage 5 project is the new Health Hub, built to provide authentic, practical training for students interested in entering the health, allied health, and community services industries.

Rather than having to travel off-site for vocational training, students can now gain industry-relevant qualifications right on campus. Registered training organisations and university partners will work directly within the space, allowing senior students to access specialised training while staying connected to their familiar school environment, peers, and pastoral support networks.
Whether students are aiming for university preparation, vocational qualifications, or school-based apprenticeships, the hub offers a direct bridge into one of Australia’s fastest-growing employment sectors.
Supporting staff and the wider school community
Alongside the Health Hub, the Stage 5 expansion includes a contemporary, extended staffroom designed to provide teachers and school staff with a collaborative space to work, plan, and connect.

The project was brought to life in partnership with Bickerton Masters architects and the Cornerstone Group builders, with funding support provided by the Queensland Government through the Capital Assistance Scheme and EIS Scheme.
A clear pathway from Year 7 to graduation
The completion of Stage 5 builds on the college’s ongoing commitment to creating spaces tailored to every stage of a child’s secondary journey. From the newly designed Year 7 Transition Space—which helps younger students adjust to high school routines — through to the diverse academic, sporting, cultural, and vocational pathways in senior years, the campus continues to expand to meet the needs of Sunshine Coast families.
With the new facilities now officially open, Good Samaritan Catholic College is ready to inspire the next generation of local health professionals right from the heart of Bli Bli.
