The HUGE, new Brisbane indoor play centre, Jungle Adventure Play North Lakes, has officially opened its doors, and it looks amazing!
The $20 million development marks a significant milestone in local entertainment, driven by the vision of local husband-and-wife team, Lachlan and Jana Walker.
Fully privately owned by the Brisbane entrepreneurs, the venue builds on the roaring success of their first location, Jungle Adventure Play Tingalpa, which has gained immense popularity since its launch.
“We’re excited to bring Jungle Adventure Play to North Lakes, offering families a place to explore, challenge themselves, and most importantly, have fun together,” Lachlan said.
Located at 2 McLennan Court, Jungle Adventure Play North Lakes spans a massive 9,945 square metres across two levels. It offers an array of attractions that cater to all ages, including interactive climbing walls, a high ropes course, ninja courses for both juniors and adults, indoor playgrounds, a licensed restaurant, indoor and outdoor café, and the Tiki bar.
The Hawk, now the longest flying fox in the Southern Hemisphere at 165 metres, has surpassed the Tingalpa zipline by 45 metres. Thrill-seekers of all ages can soar 9.65 metres above the ground, racing at a thrilling 22 km/h both inside and outside the North Lakes venue. A mini golf course is set to open in 2025, adding even more excitement to the adventure.
Lachlan and Jana, who are parents to three young children, said the second location was carefully selected due to its family-focused community, with 48.2 per cent1 of households in the suburb having children.
“Our goal has always been to create a space where kids can ditch the screens and leap into adventure, building confidence and strength, while making lifelong memories. We’re excited to grow alongside such a vibrant and family-friendly community,” Lachlan said.
The Walker’s first centre in Tingalpa has already welcomed over 1.1 million visitors over the past four years, and they expect similar success at North Lakes.
The Jungle Adventure Play North Lakes is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays until 8 pm.
